Psychological and Immigration Evaluations

In addition to therapy services, Therapy Cove offers independent psychological evaluations for immigration and forensic purposes. These evaluations are non-therapeutic, objective, and conducted in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to support immigration cases, including but not limited to:

  • Asylum evaluations

  • VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petitions

  • U-Visa and T-Visa cases

  • Hardship waivers and other humanitarian relief cases

Immigration evaluations focus on documenting the psychological impact of trauma, persecution, violence, or separation, and result in a detailed written report for legal proceedings.

Forensic & Civil Psychological Evaluations

We also conduct forensic psychological evaluations related to civil litigation and other legal matters. These assessments are independent and may include:

  • Record review

  • Structured clinical interviews

  • Standardized psychological measures, when indicated

  • A written report summarizing findings and clinical opinions

All forensic evaluations are conducted separately from therapy services and do not involve treatment.

What to Expect

  • Evaluations are scheduled based on availability and record volume

  • Services are offered on a flat-rate basis, determined by scope and complexity

  • All evaluations are conducted with cultural humility, care, and clinical rigor
